Lauren Duncan was selected as the HCAC's Pitcher of the Week after going eight scoreless innings over a pair of victories during the Grizzlies' spring break trip to Tennessee. She is the second Griz hurler in a row to claim the award, following freshman
Rylan Young last week.
A product of Peru, Indiana, Duncan got Franklin's week started by going the distance in a 10-0 rout of Maryville on Tuesday. She worked five innings, yielding just two hits and a walk. Two days later, she earned her fifth win of the season, scattering three hits over three scoreless innings in an 11-1 laugher at Sewanee.
Duncan won Pitcher of the Week honors twice during her freshman season.
The Grizzlies play a doubleheader at Spalding on Thursday.
