JOLIET, Ill. – Three members of the Franklin track and field program took part in the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite on Friday and Saturday (May 12-13).
 
Opening up competition on day one was a pair of 5K runners in sophomore John Asplund and freshman Sam Wilson. Asplund recorded a time of 15:36.61 to finish 23^rd in his heat while Wilson set a new 5K PR time with a time of 15:56.88 and a sixth place finish in his heat.
 
Saturday saw Tatlock take her turn in the discus where she finished ninth with a toss of 39.70m.
