HANOVER, Ind. - Conference play opened for the Franklin men's tennis team on Saturday (Apr. 2) afternoon with the Grizzlies facing long-time rival Hanover on the road. 

The Grizzlies (5-5, 0-1 HCAC) dropped their league opener to the Panthers (5-6, 2-0 HCAC) by a 9-0 count. Matt Leming was the lone Grizzly to push a single match to three sets at the No. 5 singles spot. 

Franklin is back in action this coming Saturday (Apr. 9) afternoon, when they host Manchester in league play and Lourdes in a non-conference showdown. First serve from Grizzly Park is set for 10:00 a.m.
