Franklin's men's tennis players will be dealing with some fatigue during their Monday classes.

Worth it.

The Grizzlies finished off their weekend journey to Michigan — one that included a trip-altering weather delay — with Sunday victories over Albion and Olivet.

The weekend got stretched out for the Grizzlies (3-2) by a storm delay that moved their Sunday evening match with Olivet indoors and pushed the start time back to about 8 p.m. Franklin finished off the long day with a 7-0 win.

Clark Hersam and Jaden Wells were a winner at first doubles, and those two added singles victories in the No. 2 and No. 4 spots, respectively. Marcus Cox and Brady Thompson took the second doubles match, with Riley Clift and Michael Linnehan claiming the third. The Grizzlies also got singles points from Sava Kmekic at No. 1, Andrew McIntyre at 3, Clift at 5 and Daniel Hernandez in the sixth position.

Earlier in the day, Franklin rallied from a 3-1 deficit to pull out a 4-3 triumph at Albion. Cox and Raymond Richard II were victorious at third doubles but the Grizzlies still dropped the overall point. In singles, Wells and Cox won in straight sets at Nos. 4 and 5, with Kmekic adding a three-set victory at No. 1 to even up the match. That set the stage for Thompson, who rallied from a set down and fought off several match points in the tiebreak to clinch the match with a 4-6, 7-6, 18-16 win.

The Grizzlies dropped a tight 3-2 match at Adrian on Saturday. Hersam won at second singles and paired with Wells for a victory at second doubles. McIntyre (No. 3) and Cox (No. 5) also picked up points in the loss.

Next up for the Franklin men will be the ITA Central Regional on Oct. 2 in Indianapolis.
