INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The fifth-seeded Franklin College men's tennis team opened up play at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament on Friday (May 3) afternoon, taking on fourth-seeded Transylvania University.

The Grizzlies' season came to an end as the Pioneers moved on to the conference semifinals with a 5-1 win.

In doubles play, Franklin picked up a point from the No. 3 tandem of Josh Stewart and Ty McCory, who rolled to an 8-0 win over their Pioneer counterparts.
