Choosing from a lineup as balanced as Franklin men's golf — which had six players on its spring roster with an 18-hole stroke average between 76.6 and 78.7 during a conference runner-up campaign — was an unenviable task, but the HCAC's coaches were forced to narrow the field.

In the end, a pair of Grizzlies — junior Nick Stewart and freshman Hunter Riggs — were part of the All-HCAC team released Tuesday afternoon. Stewart made the all-conference list for the second year in a row.

Riggs, who hails from Evansville, Indiana, was solid all year for Franklin, leading the team with a 76.6 average. He was remarkably consistent, with all of his competitive rounds landing between 72 and 83, and he ended the spring by tying for 11th individually at the HCAC Championships.

Stewart, a native of Indianapolis, was right on Riggs' heels with a 76.8 scoring norm and was equally steady, with a low round of 72 and a high of 83. He tied for 15th at the HCAC tourney, finishing just one stroke back of Riggs.

The two were part of a deep and even Griz lineup that finished second in the HCAC for the first time since 2022. With all but one regular slated to return — Angel Soria is the lone graduating senior — hopes are again high for Franklin heading into 2026-27.
