Franklin men's golf turned in their best performance of the fall this past weekend; it's no surprise that two-time all-conference senior Nick Stewart was leading the way.

Stewart was named HCAC Player of the Week after finishing as the individual runner-up at the Battle at Belterra, firing a two-round score of 74-70—144 with four birdies in each round on the par-71 layout. His effort helped the Grizzlies to a second-place team finish, just one shot behind Capital.

The weekly honor was the second of Stewart's career, the first coming in March of 2025.

Now done for the fall, the Grizzlies will return to action in the spring with an eye toward improving upon last season's second-place finish at the HCAC Championships.
