Franklin women's golf didn't have the opportunity to play for a team title at the HCAC Championships, which concluded Sunday at Anderson Country Club. But the Grizzlies did get a chance to compete as individuals, and the team's two golfers held their own.
Sophomore
Alex Goodwin finished the three-day tournament in 20th place on the individual leaderboard, carding an 89-89-91—269 on the par-73 layout to end up at 50 over par.
Freshman
Mayson Hays went 98-98-96—292, finishing 27th at 71 over par. Hays' weekend was highlighted by a second-round birdie on the par-3 seventh hole.
Erin Nolan of Rose-Hulman was the individual medalist, while Transylvania earned the team championship.
The Grizzlies will look to add to their current roster in hopes of getting back onto the team leaderboard in 2027.
