LEXINGTON, KY – The Franklin women's golf team brought their season to a close on May 2-4, facing off against the league's top competition at Kearny Hills Golf Links and the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships. The Championship was decided by two rounds as round three was canceled.
Franklin was led by senior
Sarah Cooper in 12th place, with the Griffith, Ind.-native carding a 166 (84-82) over the two-round event. Freshman
Alex Goodwin took 20th place and second on the team with a 175 (85-90). Freshman
Hanna Beller snagged 31st with a score of 200 (100-100). Senior
Jenna Imel followed Beller in 32nd with 204 (106-98). Sophomore
Jaelyn Allen finished 36th picking up a 210 (104-106).
The women's team secured a sixth-place finish with a +159, while Mount St. Joseph University claimed the team title.
