Franklin women's golf has had an abbreviated fall season, but it closed strong, getting a third-place individual finish from Alex Goodwin at the HCAC Preview tournament in Anderson, Indiana.

Goodwin carded back-to-back rounds of 84 to finish at 22 over par on the par-73 Anderson Country Club layout. The sophomore, who trailed only Debra Brogan of Mount St. Joseph and Erin Nolan of Rose-Hulman, was one of five players named to the all-tournament team.

The Grizzlies did not post a team score; only four teams had enough players to do so. Their lone other participant, freshman Macy Hays, landed at 17th on the individual leaderboard with a 94-94—188.
