Jake Garrison will head into his first HCAC men's golf tournament with some momentum.

The Franklin freshman was chosen as the conference's Player of the Week after turning in an impressive performance at the DePauw Spring Clash over the weekend. Garrison carded a 75-69—144 over his two rounds, tying for ninth on the individual leaderboard with sophomore teammate Tyler Young.

Garrison's 1-under second round, which included three birdies and an eagle, tied for the second lowest final-round score in the field. His efforts helped the Grizzlies finish third as a team behind Denison and the host Tigers.

Next up is this weekend's HCAC Championships, which will be played at Boone's Trace National Golf Club in Richmond, Kentucky.
