Fresh off of its first tournament victory in two years, Franklin men's golf kept its momentum going this weekend at the DePauw Spring Clash, which wrapped up Sunday at Pebble Brook in Noblesville, Indiana.

The Grizzlies posted a two-round total of 582 (22 over par), good for third place in the 10-team field behind Denison and the host Tigers.

Freshman Jake Garrison and sophomore Tyler Young led the way for the Grizzlies, tying for ninth place on the individual leaderboard with 36-hole totals of 144. Garrison followed an opening-round 75 with a 1-under 69, tied for the second-lowest in the field for round two. Young had a 73 and a 71 on his scorecards.

Right behind those two was junior Nick Stewart, who tied for 13th with a 72-73—145. Freshman Hunter Riggs tied for 22nd with a 74-75—149, senior Angel Soria was alone in 39th at 79-76—155 and Xander Hutton shot a pair of 82s to total 164.

Franklin will close out the season this coming weekend with the HCAC Championships at Boone's Trace in Richmond, Kentucky.
