Traveling south for its second tourney of the fall, Franklin men's golf spent Friday and Saturday competing in the Roger Lundy Alabama Invasion at Cherokee Ridge Country Club in Union Grove, Alabama.

The Grizzlies tied with Asbury for fifth in the six-team field, posting a two-round team total of 63 shots over par.

Jordan Huxford had an excellent weekend for Franklin, finishing fifth individually with a 75-76—151. He was followed by Jake Garrison, who went 74-80—154 to tie for ninth. Rounding out the Grizzly lineup were Hunter Riggs (83-78—161), Angel Soria (91-75—166) and Tyler Young (93-82—175).

Franklin will tee it up again Sept. 19 and 20 at the Midwest Region Classic in Kansasville, Wisconsin.
