The Franklin men's golf team got its fall season started Saturday and Sunday with the Transylvania Fall Invite on the Big Blue course at the University Club of Kentucky, finishing the three rounds 11th among the 19 teams in the field at 46 shots over par.

Jordan Huxford was the top individual scorer for the Grizzlies, shooting a 74-70-77—221 to end up 5 strokes over par, good for a 17th-place tie. Angel Soria (226, T-41st) was the next Grizzly on the leaderboard, followed by Jake Garrison (233, T-62nd), Nick Stewart (237, T-76th) and Tyler Young (238, T-79th). 

The Grizzlies are back in action this coming Friday and Saturday (Sept. 5-6) in the Roger Lundy Alabama Invasion in Union Grove, Alabama.
