RICHMOND, Ind. – The Franklin men's golf team faced off with eight other teams on Friday and Saturday (Apr. 18-19) at Richmond Elks Country Club for the Earlham Spring Invitational.
The Grizzlies collected a fourth place finish as a team, lowering their score by nine shots from round one to round two on their way to a score of 635 (322-313).
Finishing atop the Franklin leaderboard and finishing eighth overall was sophomore
Nick Stewart, as he carded a 155 (78-77) for the 36-hole event. Freshman
Jordan Huxford bounced back with a big day two to move up eight places and tie for 13
th overall with a 157 (82-75).

Tyler Young tied for 16
th place after shooting a 159 (78-81) while fellow freshman
Caden Anderson tied for 31
st with a 164 (84-80).
Zack Mosier rounded out the Franklin top-five, carding a 180 (90-90) to place 46
th overall.
Franklin brings their regular season to a close in their next tournament, which is set for Apr. 25-26 ad the Anderson Spring Invite at Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Ind.
