EDINBURGH, Ind. - The Franklin women's golf team faced off with five other programs on Apr. 12-13 at nearby Timbergate Golf Course for the Spalding Preview at Timbergate.
The Grizzlies finished the event with a fifth place finish, shooting a 778 (396-382) for the weekend.
Topping the leaderboard for the Grizzlies was freshman
Alex Goodwin, as she claimed a share of 14th place with a 179 (92-87) for the weekend. Senior
Jenna Imel reached the clubhouse with a 187 (94-93) and a share of 20th place overall.
Freshman
Hanna Beller took third on the team and tied for 22nd overall with a 197 (104-93), while freshman
Grace Risley placed 26th with a 215 (106-109) and sophomore
Jaelyn Allen tied for 27th with a 216 (106-110) to round out the Franklin lineup.
Up next for the Grizzlies is a trip to Richmond Elks Country Club in Richmond, Ind. on Apr. 18-19 for the Earlham Spring Invitational.
