For the second week in a row, Franklin men's tennis can lay claim to HCAC Player of the Week Honors.
Sophomore
Clark Hersam is the latest Grizzly to claim the weekly award after playing a starring role in an exciting 4-3 victory over Alma on Sunday in the team's fall finale.
The Avon, Indiana native teamed with
Jaden Wells — last week's HCAC honoree — to post a 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles, helping clinch what proved to be a pivotal doubles point. Hersam then went out and added a 6-3, 6-3 win at first singles, doing his part in a team triumph that evened the Grizzlies' fall record at 3-3.
Franklin tennis has combined for five HCAC Player of the Week awards during the fall season. On the women's side, freshman Emma Tranter was a two-time winner and classmate Reagan Cox added one of her own.
