Box Score NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. - The Franklin men's tennis team resumed Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play on Saturday (Apr. 1) with a matchup against the Transylvania Pioneers at Top Seed Tennis Club. 

The Grizzlies (4-10, 1-2 HCAC) grabbed an early point in doubles but it was all they would come away with on the day as the Pioneers (4-9, 1-1 HCAC) swept singles play for an 8-1 win. Franklin's point came at the No. 2 doubles spot with freshmen Lucas Densford and Ezra Schwier combining to take an 8-4 victory and give the duo a team-high six doubles wins for the year. 

Franklin continues conference play next Saturday (Apr. 8) when they host the Earlham Quakers in the morning and take on Capital University in the afternoon. A busy day at the tennis courts gets started at 10:00 a.m.
