HARRISON, Ohio - The Franklin men's golf team continued their fall schedule over the weekend, taking part in the annual Stateline Shootout, hosted at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course by Mount St. Joseph University.
The Grizzlies shaved 10 shots off their score from day one to day two, finishing sixth overall as a team with a 642 (326-316). Junior
Zayne Spangler led the way for the Grizzlies, earning a share of 16th place with a 157 (80-77). Freshman
Braxton Christie made the biggest improvement from day one to day two, dropping 14 shots off his score and setting a new career-low round on day two on his way to a tie for 20th with a 158 (86-72).

Jacob Paine tied for 28th with a 163 (82-81) and senior
Carter Giggy placed 37th with a 167 (80-87). Junior
Zach Ricketts rounded out the Franklin lineup with a 170 (84-86) to earn him 39th place.
The Grizzlies are off for two weeks before wrapping up their fall schedule on Oct. 15-16 at the Viaggio Fall Invitational in nearby Edinburgh, Ind. and Timbergaet Golf Course.
