Brayden Wilkins, Grace Tincher Again Claim HCAC Weekly Awards

5/19/2026 11:30:00 AM

Brayden Wilkins and Grace Tincher have been the best in the conference at their respective specialties all year long, so it's fitting that the last HCAC weekly track and field awards of the spring came their way.

Wilkins earned Athlete of the Week honors in sprints/hurdles for a second consecutive week, while Tincher claimed the women's jumps award for the fourth time during her freshman campaign.

Competing in the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier, Wilkins ran the 100-meter dash in 10.71 seconds and the 200 in 21.69, both just fractions of a second off of his school-record times. Tincher finished out her year by soaring 5.53 meters (18 feet, 1.75 inches) in the long jump.

Wilkins was the HCAC outdoor champion in the 100 and 200 this spring, while Tincher was the conference champ and a second team All-American in the long jump during indoor season.
