NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. –  The Grizzlies got their April outdoor campaign started on Saturday (Apr. 5), competing in the Manchester University Invite.

The men's and women's programs combined for 45 points to claim Eighth place.

Top finishers' for the men came from freshman Brayden Wilkins winning the 200m, running a personal best (22.55). The men's 4x100m relay including DJ Green, Jackson Jent, Aidan Jefry, and Wilkins placed third (44.98). Senior Trevor Newby earning a fourth-place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase, (10:15.49).
On the women's side, top finish for the day came from senior Ella Bashor in the 1500m running a 10 second personal best (5:19.98) to take second.

Notable finishes on the afternoon included:
Zach Schroeder- Sixth in the 3000m Steeple Chase (10:28.27).
Jonah Decker- Seventh in the 3000m Steeple Chase (10:35.84), Personal Best.
Nathan Vujaklija- Fifth in the 400m (53.16).
Jacob Carroll- Ninth in the Shot Put, 12.70m (41'8").
Fiona Sodrel- Sixth in the 1500m (5:36.87).
Addison Piotrowski- Eighth in the Javelin, 26.53m (87'00"), Personal Best.
