CARMEL, Ind. - Three members of the Franklin men's tennis team were awarded a spot on the league's two all-conference teams on Tuesday (Apr. 29) afternoon, when the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced its list of post-season award winners.

Senior Nathan Jarboe picked up First Team All-HCAC honors while senior Dustin Garrison and sophomore Marcus Cox earned places on the league's honorable mention squad.

Jarboe picked up the fourth all-conference award of his career and his third straight First Team All-HCAC selection. The Ferdinand, Ind.-native has been a staple in both the singles and doubles lineup for the Grizzlies all season, playing the bulk of the team's matches as its top singles player. Jarboe also spent the bulk of the season teaming with Shay Kyser to form a pairing that has gone 8-4 as a team with a 6-1 record playing from the #3 position in the doubles lineup.

Garrison also became a four-time all-conference selection, playing the bulk of his singles matches from the number two spot in the lineup and carrying a 4-10 solo record into the conference tournament. In doubles play, Garrison carries a 5-8 record teaming with Ezra Schwier and playing from the number one doubles position.

Cox earned the first all-conference award of his career in his second year as a lineup mainstay. The Plainfield, Ind.-native has occupied one of the three spots at the top of the singles lineup, going 4-11 overall. In doubles play, Cox carries a 6-4 overall record while spending the bulk of team play paired with Lucas Densford. That duo is a perfect 3-0 at No. 2 doubles this year.

The Grizzlies open post-season play on Thursday (May 1) afternoon in Louisville, Ky., taking on the Hanover Panthers in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament. First serve is set for 4:45 p.m.
