TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Franklin XCTF travel on Friday (Jan. 31) for the third and last installment of the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Spikes series.
Women's Results
On the track side, senior
Ella Bashor got the night started for the Grizzlies, placing sixth in the 5000 meters (20:52.68).
Fiona Sodrel secured a personal best in the mile going under six minutes (5:58.52).
Junior
Victoria Abston opened up her indoor season setting a personal best in the weight throw, tossing 10.98m (36'9.5"). In the shot put, senior
Bailey Stamper secured a personal best 9.80m (32'2"), good enough for 10
th place.
Men's Results
The distance squad opened up the meet with the 5000m run,
William Hirsch led the pack placing sixth (15:55.24). A couple spots behind, senior
John Asplund placed eighth (15:59.60). At the short sprints, freshmen
Brayden Wilkins placed fifth in the 60m dash, (7.10), bumping him up to number two all-time on the indoor top-10 list. Wilkins would return later in the 200m, (23.05), snagging fourth place and the number three spot on the indoor all time list. Capping off the night, the 4x400m relay consisting of sophomore

Luke Paddock placed fourth (3:31.80), putting them fourth all time indoor.
Sophomore
Max Malone led the way for the throws in the weight throw with a sixth place finish and toss of 13.62m (44'8.25"). In the shot put Freshmen
Ethan Hochstetler placed 11th with a personal best of 12.18m (39'11.5").
