The rewards keep coming for Franklin's swim and dive teams after a fantastic weekend of performances.

Kat Lundy was chosen as the HCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season and Alexis Fleming the HCAC Women's Diver of the Week for a fourth time after excelling at the Gail Pebworth Invitational this past weekend at Wabash. The Griz women have swept the league's weekly awards after every week in which they've competed. In addition, Zachary Jackson-Blaine was tabbed as the HCAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for a second consecutive time.

Lundy finished first in three of her four individual events, winning the 400-yard individual medley with a finals time of 4:42.88 and adding victories in the 100 and 200 backstroke finals. Her time of 56.21 in the 100 back set new meet and school records, put her in the top 15 nationally and earned her a B cut for the NCAA Division III Championships. Lundy is also 28th in the country in the 200 back after coasting to victory in 2:04.06. The junior was also fourth in the 200 butterfly and swam on four runner-up relays (200 and 400 medley, 400 and 800 freestyle), with all four of those ranking in the nation's top 50. The 400 medley relay, which also includes Avery Tomlinson, Celeste Hollis and Petal Sloan, is currently 23rd.

Fleming continued her strong season with first-place finishes on the 1- and 3-meter diving boards. The sophomore posted winning scores of 407.55 at 1 meter and 410.15 at 3 meters, edging teammate Kaleigh Schuler (last week's Diver of the Week) in both events.

Jackson-Blaine nearly joined Lundy as an NCAA qualifier, with his meet-record time of 20.44 in the 50 freestyle just .08 seconds off the B standard. His time currently ranks 22nd nationally in Division III. The junior also finished first in the 100 free (46.23), led off the Grizzlies' 200 freestyle relay with a 20.77 split and anchored the 400 free and medley relays with 46-second freestyle splits.

The Grizzlies finish out their 2025 calendar year next Friday evening (Dec. 6) with a home double dual against Anderson and Olivet.
