TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Grizzlies traveled on Friday (Jan. 24) for the second installment of the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Spikes series.
The men's team claimed fifth out of eight teams with 11 points.
Women's Results
On the track side, freshmen
Fiona Sodrel placed fifth in in the mile with a time of 6:02.33. Senior
Ella Bashor secured a fifth place finish in the 3,000m acquiring a season best of 12:05.80.
Senior
Bailey Stamper put together another strong performance in the weight throw, placing sixth with a mark of 11.67m (38'7.25"). Stamper would come back to the shot put and toss a new personal best of 9.46m (31'0.5").

The men's 4x200 relay consisting of Sophomore
Steven Scott , freshmen
Brayden Wilkins, freshmen
Aidan Jefry, sophomore
DJ Green combined to take third, running a 1:36.27. Wilkins would come back later and place third in the 60m tying his personal best of 7.17. Scott would lower his season best in the 200m, (23.49), good enough for fifth place. Senior
Elliot Gough got the distance squad started taking sixth in the mile, 4:40.74. In the 3K, freshmen
William Hirsch snagged second place with a personal best (8:59.52), putting him sixth all-time in Franklin indoor school history. Senior
John Asplund followed behind in third with a time of 9:01.28.
On the throws side, Sophomore
Patrick Fancher led the way in the weight throw with a ninth place finish and toss of 12.52m (41'01"), tying his 10th all time mark and personal best. Freshmen
Ethan Hochstetler would follow in 11th with a personal best of 11.43m (37'6"). In the jumps, senior
Tristan Konkler placed seventh with a leap of 1.70m (5'7").
