GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Franklin track and field teams faced off with the top competition from around the state on Saturday (Apr. 13) afternoon, taking part in the Indiana DIII Championships with DePauw University serving as the afternoon's host.
The Franklin women' collected 29 points to place sixth in the field while the men's team gathered 43 points to finish seventh among all teams.
Notable Women's Results

Alison Muck placed second in the 100 hurdles in 15.58 and added a third place finish in the high jump by clearing the 1.48m bar.

Sarah O'Day placed fifth in the 100m dash in 12.86 and took sixth in the long jump with a lead of 4.82m.

Vicki Arney and
Josie Lyons took fourth in 4:45.48.

Ella Bashor placed sixth in the 5K in 20:12.77.

Logan McIntosh claimed the team's only event win of the day and set two new personal records. McIntosh won the javelin with a throw of 52.88m and placed fourth in the 400m dash in 51.11.

Max Malone claimed a new PR in the discus on his way to a runner-up finish in the event with a mark of 42.27m.
