SHELBYVILLE, Indiana – The Franklin women's cross country finished their season on Saturday (Nov. 16) afternoon, taking part in the Great Lakes Regional race at Blue River Park with Franklin College serving as regional hosts.

The Grizzlies closed out their fall campaign with a 36th place finish in a field that featured 39 teams competing on the day.

Senior Ella Bashor cross the line first for the Grizzlies with a 128th place finish and a mark of 24:447.63. junior Wynn Wellington closed out the year with a 200th place finish and a time of 26:25.18.

Freshmen Fiona Sodrel took third on the team and 181st overall with a time of 24:46.6 followed by Jillian Schlieper in 239th (27:50.59), Sophomore Cailyn Baechle in 218th (27:59.53), and senior Emily Rector in 246th (28:30.41)
