FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College women's tennis team got their season underway over the weekend, taking on Transylvania on Saturday (Sept. 11) in conference play and Trine on Sunday (Sept. 12) in their fall home opener.

The Grizzlies (0-2, 0-1 HCAC) both of their matches by identical 9-0 scores, falling to a pair of unbeaten squads. Seniors Emma Foley and Sydney Logsdon played their first career matches in the 1-2 singles spots and a total of 10 different Grizzlies saw the court over the weekend.

Franklin gets back at it in conference play on Wednesday (Sept. 15) evening, when the Grizzlies head north to take on the Anderson Ravens. First serve from Anderson is set for 3:00 p.m.
