Franklin's tennis teams have a long and distinguished history of academic success, and the 2025-26 squads were no exception.

The Griz men and women were both honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as All-Academic Teams after both posting team grade-point averages of 3.2 or higher during the academic year.

In addition, Franklin had 15 players — eight women and seven men — earn ITA Scholar Athlete status after registering GPAs of 3.5 or better.

Earning ITA Scholar Athlete accolades on the women's side were Ailyn Hendricks, Emma Sappenfield, Alyssa Harmon, Brenna Atchison, Reagan Cox, Alleigh Leezer, Kelly McClure and Emma Tranter. Making the cut for the men were Brian Vennemann, Michael Linnehan, Avram Rund, Brendan Hanner, Daniel Hernandez, Clark Hersam and Shay Kyser.

Nine of those players — Atchison, Harmon, Sappenfield, Hanner, Hernandez, Hersam, Kyser, Rund and Vennemann — were repeat selections.
