FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin women's tennis team continued conference play on Wednesday (Oct. 2) night, hosting long-time rival Hanover at the Mickel-Hoover Tennis Complex.
The Grizzlies (3-5, 3-2 HCAC) saw dropped their first home conference match of the year, falling to the Panthers (4-1, 3-1 HCAC) 9-0.
Hanover dropped just three points in doubles competition, setting the stage for singles play where they took all six matchups in competitive matchups.
Franklin looks to get back in the win column on Friday (Oct. 4) afternoon, when they welcome Johnson University (Tenn.) to the tennis courts for a non-conference matchup. First serve from the tennis complex is set for 4:00 p.m.
