FRANKLIN, Ind. (April 23, 2017) The Franklin College women's tennis team lost 5-4 Sunday afternoon against visiting Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Franklin's singles winners were sophomore Karen Dringenburg at No. 1 (6-2, 6-4) and sophomore Tapanga Gauck at No. 6 (6-1, 6-0).

In doubles, sophomore Holyn Eldridge and Dringenburg won at No. 1 (8-4), and juniors Claire Hirsch and Jessica Baker won at No. 3 (8-1).
