Men's Basketball Loses to Trine

Franklin, Ind. - Trine University had three double-figure scorers in picking up a 68-51 victory over the Franklin College men's basketball team on Tuesday evening from the Spurlock Center.

Trine (1-2) received a game-high 28 points from Tyler Good. Will Dixon added 19 points and Jared Holmquist scored 11 points for the visitors.

The two teams battled in a back-and-forth first half with Trine holding a 33-30 lead at intermission. The Thunder held Franklin to 30 percent shooting in the second half to pick up the victory.

Freshman Jim Mace (Brazil, Ind./Northview) scored eight points and had a game-high seven rebounds. Sophomores Robbie Prather (Franklin, Ind./Roncalli) and Brett McCory (Vallonia, Ind./Brownstown Central) also scored eight points.

Junior Trae Washington (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South) rounded out the balanced scoring effort with seven points.

Franklin returns to action on Saturday, November 29, at 3 p.m. when it travels to Adrian College.
