Franklin women's tennis started its spring break trip with a win. On Thursday afternoon, the Grizzlies finished their travels off the same way, posting a 5-2 victory at Agnes Scott.

The Grizzlies (10-9) claimed the doubles point, getting a 6-1 victory from Ailyn Hendricks and Emma Tranter in the No. 1 spot and a 6-3 win from Reagan Cox and Eleanor Stillabower at No. 2.

In singles action, Tranter, Cox and Stillabower helped seal the team triumph with straight-set wins in the second through fourth positions. Alleigh Leezer added a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the fifth spot.

Next up for Franklin will be a Saturday match against IU Kokomo (2 p.m.) at the University of Indianapolis.
