FRANKLIN – The Franklin College baseball team got a nine-game homestand underway on Wednesday (Mar. 12) afternoon, hosting the Millikin Big Blue at John P. McDowell Field.
The Grizzlies (5-4) saw their brief winning streak halted at two games as the Big Blue (6-5) came away with a 15-5 seven-inning win.
The teams traded two-run first innings with Franklin getting their runs across in the form of an RBI single from

Josh Girvan joined Wallace and Willmann with RBIs in the game.
Damian Tillie (0-2) made his first start in nearly two years, giving up one hit in one-plus inning of work.

Franklin gets back at it on Saturday (Mar. 15) with the first two games of a four-game set with the Albion Britons. First pitch is set for noon.
