LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Franklin men's cross country team capped off the 2025 season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional hosted by Spalding University.

The Grizzlies finished 21st out of 37 teams on the 8-kilometer course. They were led by a 35th-place individual finish from sophomore William Hirsch, who ran a personal best of 25:57.3 that was good enough to secure him All-Region Honors. Hirsch is Franklin's first All-Region runner since 2019, when Clayton Brumfield '20 finished 33rd.

Senior Jonah Decker rounded out his career coming in second for the team and 114th overall in 27:06.6, also securing a personal best. Senior teammate Riley Devening crossed in 27:08.00 to take 117th. Sophomore Zachary Schroeder finished 138th, achieving a new personal best in 27.27.2. Closing out the top five in 186th was senior Andre Davis in a time of 28:24.1.

The Grizzlies will now set their sights on indoor track and field, with the first meet on Jan. 17 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
