Franklin's swim and dive teams held their own against two of the top teams in Division III over the weekend, and their conference peers took notice.

Junior Celeste Hollis and sophomore Alexis Fleming were named the HCAC's Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week on Tuesday, with Fleming claiming the honor for a second straight week.

Hollis had an outstanding meet against Case Western and host Centre, finishing first with top-40 national times in both the 100-yard butterfly (59.03, 39th) and the 200 fly (2:10.29, 22nd). She also swam the fly leg on a Grizzly 400 medley relay team that won in 4:00.25, the seventh-fastest time in Division III so far this season.

Fleming turned in a runner-up finish on the 3-meter board, posting a score of 199.65 to finish behind only Case Western's Jayna Kawas, and finished third in the 1-meter competition (198.00).

The Grizzlies will return to action next Friday (Nov. 7) with a home meet against Manchester and Hanover.
