OBERLIN, Ohio — Franklin women's cross country made the trip northeast on Saturday to compete in the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble. The Grizzlies placed 23rd in the 25-team pool.
Wynn Wellington crossed the line first for Franklin, taking 128th with a time of 25:31.60. Sophomore
Fiona Sodrel came through second in 154th (25:53.90).
Ariana Sheckler (164th in 26:25.80, a personal best by 42 seconds),
Elliott Taylor (196th in 28:44.10, a five-second PB) and
Cailyn Baechle (201st in 29:20.90) rounded out the Grizzly scoring.
The Grizzlies will be back on the course Saturday, Nov. 1, when they host the HCAC Championships at Blue River Memorial Park in Shelbyville, Indiana.
