RICHMOND, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer team kicked off conference play on Saturday (Sept. 28), taking on the Earlham Quakers in the first of three straight road contests to open the league slate.
The Grizzlies (2-4-2, 1-0 HCAC) battled wet conditions and emerged with all three points, beating the Quakers (1-4-2, 0-1 HCAC) 1-0.

The Grizzlies got all the offense they needed in the 33
rd minute, with a pair of subs linking up to fire the visitors in front.
Jetta Norris collected a pass from
Shelby Rendes and deposited a shot into the back of the net for what would stand as the game's lone goal.
