RICHMOND, Ind. – The Franklin volleyball team faced off with the Earlham Quakers on Saturday (Nov. 2) afternoon, kicking off the final week of the regular season.
The Grizzlies struggled to slow down Earlham's offense all afternoon, with the Quakers taking the matchup in three sets, 25-14, 25-19, 25-13. Franklin hit a solid .196 on the afternoon, but that number was overshadowed by Earlham's attack that saw the Quakers hit .469 for the contest.
Kaitlyn Lavy put up 11 kills and hit .300 on the afternoon, with
McKenzie Schroeder's .333 attacking percentage tops among all attackers as she finished with six kills.
Brionna Linkel handed out 20 helpers running the offense.
Kamzi Gross had a team-high six digs with Linkel and Schroder right behind with five digs each.
Franklin plays their final road match of the season on Wednesday (Nov. 6) night, facing off with the Manchester Spartans at 7:00 p.m.
