WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Franklin women's soccer team kicked off a four-game road stretch on Wednesday (Sept. 6), taking on the Wilmington Quakers.
The Grizzlies (1-1-1) suffered their first defeat of the year, dropping a 3-0 decision to the hosts from Wilmington (3-0).
The Quakers got two first half goals 12 minutes apart and fought off a late first half push from the Grizzlies to get one back before the break. Wilmington would add their third early in the second half to put the game out of reach.

Dianna Rollag all had shot attempts for Franklin and
Makenna Mundy stopped three shots in goal for the Grizzlies.
Franklin looks to bounce back on Friday (Sept. 8) afternoon, when they head to Kentucky for a meeting with Asbury University. Kick-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
