FRANKLIN - Franklin College women's tennis members
Maecee Terhune,
Kinley Harmon and
Samantha Schick were honored by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) with Academic All-District honors for their performances on the court and in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.
All three players were mainstays in Franklin's lineup throughout the 2022-23 year, with Terhune and Harmon playing at or near the top of the lineup in both singles and doubles action all year. Schick tied for the team lead with six singles win and picked up a victory in her lone doubles matchup of the year
CSC Academic All-District Team honorees are chosen by the national organization based on combined academic and athletic accomplishments. Minimum academic requirements for nominees are a GPA above 3.50 in at least the sophomore year with each athlete competing in at least 50% of the team's matches.
CSC members will vote on the Academic All-America Team over the next week. The 2023 NCAA Division III CSC Academic All-America Women's Tennis will be announced in the coming weeks..
