WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Franklin men's basketball team continued a four-game road trip on Monday (Nov. 20) night with a trip to Ohio and a meeting with the Wilmington Quakers.
After taking a lead into the half, the Grizzlies (1-3) were overwhelmed by the Quakers (4-1) in the second half, with Wilmington taking the matchup 82-69.
How it Happened
The opening half saw both defenses control the play, with both teams shooting under 45% in the opening 20 minutes. Momentum went into the locker room with the Grizzlies, as they closed out the first half on an 8-2 run to make it 36-30 after 20 minutes.
The game sat tied at 51 with 11:11 to play after
Ryan Bostic canned a three, but it was all Quakers the rest of the way as they went on a 24-3 run to put the game well out of reach.
