ANGOLA, Ind. – The Franklin men's basketball team hit the road for the first time on Thursday (Nov. 16) night, taking on a Trine Thunder team sitting just outside the top-25.
Three Grizzlies (1-2) finished the night in double figures, led by a 12-point outing from junior
Braden Flanagan. But the Thunder (3-0) led from start to finish and took the contest 79-58.
How it Happened
Franklin fell into an early 10-3 hole but found their way back to within a possession with an 8-2 run that made it 12-11 Thunder with 12:42 to go in the opening half. The Grizzlies kept within striking distance and trailed by only six with five minutes to go in the first half, but a 10-3 Thunder run to close the half made it 42-29 after 20 minutes and the lead continued to balloon throughout the second half of play.

-Franklin shot 35.2% (19-for-54) from the floor, going 8-for-25 from deep and 12-for-21 from the line.
-Joining Flanagan in double figures with 10 points each was

-Franklin's reserves contributed 33 points on the night.
