HANOVER, Ind. – The Franklin volleyball team took on the Hanover Panthers on Tuesday (Oct. 31) night in the team's final road match of the season.
The Grizzlies (8-17, 2-6 HCAC) battled one of the top teams in the league tight, but Hanover (18-7, 6-2 HCAC) came away with a three-set win 25-23, 25-12, 25-23.
Franklin finished the night hitting .069 on the attack to a .165 clip for Hanover.

McKenzie Schroeder tied for the team lead with six kills each.
Sofia Helton led the team with 16 kills followed by eight from
Brionna Linkel.
The back line was led by a 12-dig outing from
Campbell Clark, followed by nine digs from
Hannah Phegley and eight from both Linkel and
Kamzi Gross. Wilson, Schroeder and
Chloe Holder all had two blocks each. Holder and Helton topped the service group with two aces each.
Franklin brings the regular season to a close on Saturday (Nov. 4) night, when they host the Earlham Quakers. First serve from the Spurlock Center is set for 7:30 p.m.
