TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Franklin women's soccer team headed out on the road for the final time in the regular season on Wednesday (Oct. 18) night, taking on the Rose-Hulman Engineers.

The Grizzlies (3-7-6, 2-3-2 HCAC) were bested by the Engineers (6-3-4, 5-2 HCAC) 1-0, with the home side putting on a stout defensive clinic.

The Engineers got the game's lone goal in the 76th minute, breaking through after controlling the ball for the bulk of the game to that point. Rose finished the game with 21 shots to one for the Grizzlies, with junior goalkeeper Makenna Mundy making seven saves in goal for Franklin on the night.
