How it Happened
Franklin generated plenty of chances from the opening whistle but the game remained scoreless through a half hour of play. Things changed in the 34
th minute when a Defiance handball in their 18-yard box led to a Franklin penalty kick that
Adex Bixler smashed home for her first career goal and a 1-0 lead.

That goal opened up the flood gates, as
Jetta Norris scored the first of her career in the 58
th minute after she tapped in a
Lauren Barker centering pass. Barker got into the goal column in the 41
st minute, banging home her third of the year and give the hosts a 3-0 lead they would take into the break.

Early in the second half, the Grizzlies added to their lead with Duff doing the honors.
Kinsey Price broke in down the right wing and sent a crossing feed into the box where Duff fought off a defender and directed the ball into the bottom left corner for her first of the year.

Maddison Claybrooke put the finishing touches on the win with two goals over a span of 4:06 to give the home side their final tallies of the day.
