FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College men's soccer team made their home debut on Sunday (Sept. 4) night, welcoming the Spalding Golden Eagles to Faught Stadium for a non-conference matchup.
A tightly contested match saw the Grizzlies (0-2) get on the board early but fell victim to two Spalding (1-1) goals early in each half. A frantic, late-game push saw Franklin generate quality chances in the final minutes but were unable to net the tying goal in a 2-1 loss.
How it Happened
