ALBION, Mich. – The Franklin women's soccer team played their second match in three days and final road match of the non-conference schedule on Saturday (Sept. 17) when they took on the Albion Britons.
Freshman
Meghan Moses netted her first career goal in the opening half but the Grizzlies (2-3) couldn't add to that total, dropping a 3-1 decision to the Britons (3-0-2).
How it Happened
After conceding the game's first goal, the Grizzlies got back to even in the 30
th minute when Tipton, Ind.-native Moses found the back of the net to grab the equalizer. But the Britons had a response in the 39
th minute and added a penalty kick goal in the 74
th minute to seal the victory.
