NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Franklin men's soccer team hit the road for the first time in league play on Wednesday (Oct. 5) night, taking on the Manchester Spartans.
The Grizzlies (1-8, 1-2 HCAC) fell behind the Spartans (2-5-4, 1-0-2 HCAC) early and spent the rest of the night playing catch-up before dropping a 3-0 decision.
Manchester netted the game's first goal in the ninth minute and added 49
th and 90
th minute tallies. Shots on the night were 17-5 in Manchester's favor, with five different Grizzlies putting attempts on target.

Ian Rowe stopped five shots for Franklin in his ninth straight start.
The Grizzlies are back at home for the first of two straight matches on Friday (Oct. 7) night, when they host Mount St. Joseph University. Kick-off is set for 6:30 p.m.
