FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin men's soccer team kicked off a two-game homestand under the lights on Friday (Oct. 7) night, taking on the Mount St. Joseph Lions as part of a homecoming weekend soccer double-header.
The Grizzlies (2-8, 2-2 HCAC) dominated the game on the shot chart with 27 chances on the night. Four different players found the back of the net and three players had three-point night as Franklin bested the Lions (3-11, 1-3 HCAC) 4-2.

Htoo Ray Moo in on a breakaway and he made no mistake in pumping home his second of the year. Just 4:05 after the opener,
Eddy Yousak doubled the lead on another counter-attack play that started with a feed from goalkeeper
Ian Rowe and ended with the ball in the net.
Late in the 41
st minute, a foul in the Manchester box led to Franklin's second penalty kick attempt of the night.
Enzo De Marco made no mistake on his attempt, burying a shot to stretch the lead to 3-0.
The Lions cut the Franklin lead to a goal in the second half, but senior
Angel Tapia slammed the door shut on a comeback bid when he launched a shot attempt from 25 yards out that curled inside the far post for his first of the year.

-Moo led all Franklin attackers with six shot attempts and tied with Yousak for the team lead in shots on target with four. Moo, Yousak and De Marco all finished with a goal and an assist on the night.
-Rowe made four stops in goal and recorded the first point of his career after starting the breakout that led to the second goal.
